Product Description

The 143.3 x 190.5 x 16 mm seal (Part Nos. 128648A1, 87588941/87588941K, 8788941, 328500A1) is a front axle hub cassette oil seal (System 2000 combination seal) specifically designed for heavy-duty agricultural machinery and heavy-duty trucks—particularly equipment from the CNH (Case New Holland) Group.
Applications: Primarily serves CNH heavy-duty MFD (Mechanical Front Drive/4WD) axle systems (typically featuring 10-bolt hub configurations).
Compatible Models:
Case IH heavy-duty tractors/agricultural vehicles: Case IH Magnum 180, 190, 210, 215, 225, 245, 255, and 275 series; classic heavy-duty axle series including the 7110–7150 and 7210–7250 ranges; and the MX180 through MX285 series.
New Holland heavy-duty vehicles: High-horsepower models with heavy-duty front axles, such as the 8670, 8770, 8870, 8970, T8010–T8050, and TG210–TG285 series.
Primary Functions:
1. Containment of high-viscosity gear oil (preventing internal leakage): The front axle's main reduction gear, planetary gearbox, and hub bearings operate in an environment filled with lubricant; this seal effectively retains the lubricant, preventing bearing burnout caused by insufficient lubrication.

2. Resistance to extreme mud and water intrusion (external leakage prevention): The cassette oil seal features an internal design with a complex labyrinth-style dust lip, specifically engineered to withstand external wastewater, fine sand, and agricultural mud.
3. Zero wear on the original axle journal: Since friction between the inner and outer rings occurs entirely within the seal assembly, it does not wear down the expensive front axle housing during rotation—unlike conventional unitized oil seals—allowing for simple, direct replacement of the entire unit.
